Background:
The only federated school in Norfolk, All Saints was formed in 1979 when the village schools at Great Ryburgh, Stibbard and Guist were combined under one headteacher. The site at Guist has since been closed due to a decrease in the school population, and pupils at Great Ryburgh and Stibbard are accommodated in Victorian buildings. New school building is under way; due to open, after a 12-year wait, at Easter 2006. The school is particularly proud of its sporting achievements, with competitive sports played against local schools. Sporting activities include football, swimming, cricket, rounders, orienteering and table tennis. Thriving Friends' Association raises money for purchase of equipment such as playground equipment; schools raises money for NCH, Macmillan Cancer Research, and Save the Children. Artsmark Gold (2005); Investor in People status (2005). Ethos: 'A family atmosphere runs throughout the school; all children and their families are welcome'.
