Background:
Redgate was built in 1975 as a purpose-built middle school on a semi-open plan basis. The school has superb facilities with a multi-purpose hall, seven general teaching rooms, staffroom, a computer suite and a library. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include basketball, netball, rugby, tennis, football, cross-country and cricket. The school aims to provide a caring, secure and disciplined environment for children from a wide range of backgrounds.
