The building is Victorian with an interesting history. A playing field and an adequate hard court area are available for outdoor games. The Margaret Mack village hall, adjacent to the school, is used daily for assemblies, physical education, music, dance and drama. The school provides a range of extra-curricular activities which include homework club, cricket tournament, country dancing, art club, swimming, gymnastics/athletics, residential courses, sports club, cycling proficiency, chess club and music tuition.
