Background:
Woodlands Middle School, Bradwell is co-educational and comprehensive and is situated in Bradwell, Great Yarmouth. There are approximately 490 pupils on roll, which is large for a middle school, both locally and nationally. The school is single-storey and was opened in 1976. Music is taught to all pupils in a purpose-built music room, which includes two practices bays. Extra-curricular tuition ensures that children have access to music at all levels. There are two choirs and a number of instrumental ensembles. The school aims to provide a secure, caring and stimulating environment within which every child can flourish in order to develop his/her potential.
