Diss Church of England Junior School is a voluntary controlled junior school normally catering for children aged from seven to 11 years. The school was originally opened in 1862 as a national school and has been substantially remodelled and modernised over the last 139 years. The school curriculum has core subjects including English, mathematics and science. The school follows the national strategies for both numeracy and literacy and follow programmes of study for information and communication technology, science, history, geography, music, art, design and technology, physical education and religious education, physical social and health education and citizenship.
