Combination of tradition with technology to 'get the best out of every boy and girl'. Well-equipped Science labs and computer suites. Good reputation in sport, particularly rugby. Good links with the local community, including business, which resulted in a Best Education-Industry Link Award. Aims to promote 'high standards of individual achievement', with 'care, respect and tolerance for others'. Offers pupils the chance to broaden their horizons with trips abroad and other activities.
