Background:
Fleggburgh is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School. The school was built in 1866 and is an attractive Victorian building with some decorative brickwork and original features. There is a large library, which is currently being re-stocked, a hall that doubles as a dining room, kitchens, office, staff room, cloakrooms and inside toilets. The building is set in attractive grounds consisting of a tarmac playground with marked playground games, an adventure area with two climbing frames built above a safe bark chippings base and a large grassed area for summertime play. Throughout the year various clubs are available for children during the lunchtime and after school these include, chess, art and craft, dance, netball, football and wildlife explorers. The school aims to provide the highest quality of teaching and learning within a stimulating and creative environment.
